Kristi Barel
Kristi Barel began her college career with a softball scholarship to Lake Michigan College, where she played first and second base for two years. She then graduated from Central Michigan University with a triple minor in Mathematics, Physical Education, and History. She has a Master's Degree in Administration from Saginaw Valley University. Kristi has taught as Ewell Elementary for the past nine years. Kristi has extensive school and UEA involvement:

Kristi's favorite thing to do is spend time with her husband Sean (a teacher at Schwarzkoff Elementary) and their children Ryan and Olivia. She is a true sports fan who enjoys playing volleyball in two leagues and watching a wide variety of sports - especially Titan football. She brings her passion and sense of fair play to the bargaining table.
