Chuck Nassar
Chuck Nassar attended Oakland University to attain his Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts, and Education Specialist degrees. He has worked for 15 years as a teacher and counselor at Burr, Dekeyser, and Magahay Elementary Schools, as well as at Jeannette and Malow Junior High Schools. He also serves as a lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, preparing Marines for deployment worldwide. His platoon is based out of Selfridge ANG. Chuck displays strong leadership qualities and commitment to honesty and integrity. His school, district, and UEA involvement includes:
- Elementary Steering Committee
- 8th Grade football coach
- Science Department Chair at Magahay Elementary
- Grievance Committee
- Two Bargaining Support Teams
- Crisis Committee
Chuck's experience as a Marine Corps Platoon Commander gives him the vision, focus, and determination that will benefit all members during negotiations. He will not back down from the challenges of the bargaining table.
